The Details

Opening Circle

Join us as we introduce ourselves, tell you more about the retreat and what you can expect.  We will take a breath together and start guiding our attention towards the workshops to come.

Biddy will guide us through a short meditation to help us find our intention by helping us zoom in on what we want to give ourselves the most during Coming Home.

There will also be time to answer any questions you might have about the retreat.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Friday 20.00 - 22.00: hosted by Biddy & your teachers

Morning rituals

Open Zoom Room
Say good morning and have a coffee or tea before we start.

Find your Breath and let it settle
In our first session of the day join Biddy to set yourself up for a wonderful day. We settle in by focusing on both body and breath in a short meditation. No experience needed, all you have to do is find a comfortable seat and be your wonderful self.

Saturday 09.00 - 9.30: hosted by Biddy

Chair Yoga

Your body is amazing! Join Lina for a fun yoga practice with the support of a chair to honor your body and take really good care of it. We'll take time to be present with ourself, breathe fully, move all the joints, gently stretch and strengthen the big muscle groups in the body and even build new brain cells.

Get creative: Explore Climate Change

In this creative workshop you will explore the mechanisms of climate change (based on the science in the IPCC report, the latest science on climate change) while looking at the emotional toll it takes on us. You can expect to leave the workshop with a clearer understanding of the impact of human activity on the climate while feeling connected to yourself. We will capture our emotions by creating a collage inspired by nature, either analog or digital.

What you need for this workshop:
- pens, paper/notebook, markers, old magazines, postcards, newspapers
OR
- a tablet app you already know (like Paper) that allows you to create collages
- Canva or Pixlr + Unsplash

For this workshop, it's useful to gather a few photos (digitally or analog) that remind you of nature. Think about a place you love (fields, forest, sea, mountain...) or an animal that inspires you.

Saturday 13.00 -14.30 hosted by Ely

- pen & paper

Saturday 15.00 - 16.30: hosted by Eva

Open Room - Journaling

In this Open Zoom Room you can enjoy a few moments of simple togetherness. We can drink a cup of tea together. Biddy will also give you a few journal prompts to let the things we have done so far settle and make their mark in your memories. If you want to think these questions over, without writing them down but instead letting the thoughts take shape in your mind, you are most welcome to do that.

Saturday 16.30 -17.00 hosted by Biddy

Moon Ceremony

Did you know that there's a full moon tonight?

We will dive into the magic aura of the Full Moon by doing a Moon inspired Meditation. After this meditation Marie will guide you though a few writing prompts and a lovely mantra chanting. The Full Moon Circle will close with a sharing circle.

Saturday 19.15 - 20.30: hosted by Marie

Yoga Nidra

End your day by letting your body wind down, calming your brain and set yourself up for a good night's sleep. During Yoga Nidra you will let your body rest while Biddy guides you into deeper layers of relaxation.

WHAT DO YOU DO?
- lay down or find a comfortable seat
- make sure you are warm & supported
- let your body rest
- feel free to turn your camera off
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
- you cannot do this wrong
- you don't need any (yoga) experience
- your don't have to move
- you cannot do this wrong (so important to know it's listed twice)

Saturday 20.45-21.30: hosted by Biddy

Yoga & The Written Word

What if we write from movement. What if the words flow through you as you move?

Join Biddy & Stephen as they bring together two things they love: Movement & The Written Word.

They will guide you through a practice that will have you move both body and brain, connecting to yourself through Yoga poses and by letting your pen translate what you feel onto paper.

What you will need for this workshop:
- pen and paper
- space to move
- space to write
- space to rest (yoga mat / couch / chair)

Sunday 9.30 - 10.30: hosted by Stephen & Biddy

This session was pre-recorded because of possible scheduling conflicts and we will watch it together for its premier viewing.

Being True to Myself, Write your Manifesto

Have you ever asked yourself big life questions? The ones that we never seem to have a clear answer on. 'What is most important to me?', 'What do I want in life?', 'And what is holding me back to create just that?'.

In this workshop, Marcella will guide you through some carefully chosen journal prompts to find your answers. And with these answers you will create a simple  being true to myself manifesto to remind you of the things you need to live a meaningful life, true to yourself.

And no worries: no diving deep when you feel like just being playful!

What you need for this workshop:
- paper or journal
- pen
- different colored pen/marker
- favorite drink
- the template inside the workbook or an extra piece of paper.

Sunday 10.45 - 11.45: hosted by Marcella

Bake your own delicious Naan

In this workshop we will learn how to make super easy, deliciously soft and comforting naan breads. The perfect partners to an autumny soup, a warm dhal or a creamy hummus. Suitable for vegans ;)

Join Marie to make this deliciousness for lunch. After baking we can enjoy our lunch together! (not baking, but love watching others bake? Join us too!)

Shopping list and tips for good pairings to your Naan are available now in your online retreat space!

Saturday 12.00 - 13.30: hosted by Marie

Finding Fulfillment from within

Although a fulfilling life is rooted within us and is the key to real longevity, most of us are taught to go find fulfillment outside of ourselves. We might spend our life looking for the perfect job, family and lifestyle, only to end up disappointed and completely burned out, from the chase.

But what would happen if we took a moment to be completely honest with ourselves and our own version of fulfillment? What would your life be like, if you were truly generating real happiness from within, instead of chasing it outside yourself?

Join Jeppe and let this interactive workshop will be a supporting step on your journey!

What you will need:
- Pen & Paper

Sunday 13.30 - 14.45: hosted by Jeppe

Shake it off and slow it down

Join Biddy & Marcella as they share one way of showing up for yourself and surrendering to what is is you find there with you.

We will enjoy simple and loving embodied movement, where we will create space to let go of what we no longer want to carry with us. Then we will slow down to let all we want to remember settle into our body and mind.

Please create space to move and bring a few pillows and/or blankets and any other props you like to use for your practice.

Saturday 15.15 - 16.00: hosted by Biddy & Marcella

Closing Circle

Join Biddy and other teachers and hosts as we gather one last time.

We will take stock, reflect and the teachers on our call will share some of their experiences. If you feel like sharing, we would love to hear how your Coming Home Experience was. If you only want to be there and listen, we completely understand that too.

We will take a breath together, rub our hands to warm our hearts and be together, one last time ;)

Sunday 16.15 - 17.15: hosted by Biddy & your teachers
